 President:Kendall Schmidt

Kendall is a Junior at Texas State studying public relations with a minor in psychology. She has served on our PRSSA executive board for two years now and is very excited about serving as our President this year. Last year she represented Texas State PRSSA as our delegate at the PRSSA National Assembly and also attended this year's PRSSA Leadership Rally in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is very active on campus and also serves as the Vice President of the Student Organizations Council here at Texas State and works as an intern with the Texas State Athletics Department. Kendall loves reading magazines and blogs about fashion and would love to pursue a career in either industry doing public relations on a tangible scale.

Vice President:Caitlyn Pesl

Caitlyn Pesl is a senior at Texas State majoring in Public Relations and has been a member of PRSSA since 2008. Since then she has been the Outreach Coordinator and recently holds the position of being the Vice President. She currently interns with a non profit in Kyle, TX, called Hope& Love 4 Kids and has become very involved in the community. Caitlyn will graduate in May 2011 and plans to stay in this area and start her career. 

Social Media: Jennifer Mcginnis

Jennifer is a Junior at Texas State studying Public Relations and minoring in Healthcare Administration She is a current member of Diamond Sweethearts an organization that supports the baseball team. Jennifer is excited to be involved in PRSSA and encourages others to join. When Jennifer graduates she is interested in event planning.   

Events: Lizzie Laster

Lizzie is a Senior at Texas State majoring in Public Relations with a minor in sociology. She has represented Texas State's PRSSA chapter at the PRSSA National Conference in San Diego and attended the National Assembly in Austin, Texas. She is very eager to become more involved in the organzation and help to raise more awareness on campus. After she attends graduate school, Lizzie is interested in pursuing a career in the sports and/or entertainment public relations field. She hopes to one day live in New York or Los Angeles and work for a large entertainment or sports agency.   

Member Coordinator:Amy Osburn

Amy is a Senior at Texas State majoring in International Studies- Interamerican Studies and minoring in Political Science. Her expected date of graduation is May 2011. After graduation, she would love to work for a locally owned retail company doing all of their public relations work to make the company successfull. Amy is very excited to serve as member coordinator and has been involved in PRSSA for 4 semesters. Last semester Amy got the privilege of attending National Assembly in Austin, Texas. She loves to travel and got the oppurtunity to study abroad in Spain this summer for five weeks.   

Secretary: Caitlyn Denham

Caitlyn is a Junior at Texas State studying Public Relations and double minoring in Business Administration and Spanish. She has been a member of PRSSA for a year and is very excited to be a part of the executive board this year. She plans on studying abroad in Spain in the spring to where she can immerse herself in the language and culture. She is very involved with the Animal Defense League in San Antonio, Texas and had her first internship with them where she helped plan adoption and awareness events as well as promoting their mission. After graduation she hopes to move to Nashville, TN and work as a publicist in the country music industry.
